Harriet’s General

For the People, By the People!

Harriet’s General, a “Made in America” themed store, located in downtown Culpeper, Virginia, opened their doors during the summer of 2012. During their build-out, they hired Yesterday Reclaimed to create a number of functional display features including:

- A massive barn door outfitted with custom flat track hardware and over-sized handle

- Custom display rack made of reclaimed barn beams and railroad spikes

- A custom mannequin stand made from salvaged gears and plow disk from farming implements

- An entire wall of 1″x3″ reclaimed barn wood from an antique corn crib located in Wolftown, VA

- Replacement top for a vintage Coca-Cola machine

Owners, Katie and Acie Shrewsbery, not only have a cool store, but have also become great friends of the Yesterday Reclaimed family and keep us looking dapper in their Red Wing Heritage boots, Bills Khakis and Darn Tough Socks!
